Brides Beware, Counterfeit Wedding Gowns Investigated!

An article from Inside Edition was recently brought to our attention discussing counterfeit wedding gowns and the dangers of buying online.  This is a topic that hits home to us because we frequently see the results of gowns purchased from illegitimate sources and the problems they can cause.  Save yourself the stress, time, and money and research before buying!

When price is the main concern, there are still ways to get the look you're dreaming of, our consultants are experts on our stock so we can find you a gown with all the details you love!  You can also consider shopping for sample gowns, and receive a discount for buying off the rack.  Another option is to select a simple gown that can be customized with accessories and alterations to achieve your dream wedding day look.  We will always go above and beyond to help a bride make the right choice in selecting her gown and provide you with something you can be proud to wear and feel beautiful in!

So what does buying a counterfeit gown online get you?  Well, here is an image of a popular Maggie Sottero wedding gown, and the counterfeit version of that gown.  You can see clear differences in the quality of materials, fit, and construction, and color.  It really goes to show that the old saying, "you get what you pay for" is true!

Unsure of where to purchase a gown?  Many designers will provide you with information on legitimate retailers, and where NOT to buy.  One of our designers, Mori Lee has a comprehensive list of sites that are known counterfeiters; here is a link to that page:  http://www.morilee.com/beware.
